This website is operated by M & CO, an online jewelry brand based in South Africa. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean M & CO, and "you" means the person using the website or placing an order.

2. Using our website

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to place an order. You agree to give us accurate information when you shop with us and to use the website only for lawful purposes.

3. Products and descriptions

We do our best to describe and photograph our jewelry as accurately as possible. Materials, stones and sizes are listed on each product page. Colors may look slightly different on different screens, and handmade or natural variations in finish are normal. Images are for illustration, and the real item may differ slightly in appearance.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR). Shipping costs vary depending on the courier you choose and your location, and are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken at checkout through our secure payment provider, and we never see or store your full card details.

We try to keep our prices accurate, but mistakes can happen. If a product is listed at the wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, or contact you to confirm the correct price before shipping.

5. Discounts, offers and codes

From time to time we run offers, sales and discount codes. Unless stated otherwise:

• Discount codes must be entered at checkout and cannot be applied after an order is placed
• Offers are valid only for the dates and products stated, and while stock lasts
• Codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money
• We may withdraw or change an offer at any time, but this will not affect orders already placed

Free shipping applies to orders above R1200, as shown at checkout.

6. Placing an order

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. Your order is accepted once we send you an order confirmation email and process your payment. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if there is a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full.

7. Shipping and delivery

We deliver across South Africa using Aramex, PUDO and PostNet. Delivery times are estimates and depend on the courier and your location, so delays can happen and are outside our control. Please make sure your address or pickup point is correct before you pay.

The risk of loss or damage passes to you once your order has been delivered to your address or collection point. For full details, please read our Shipping & Returns page.

8. Returns and refunds

If you are not happy with your order, you may request a return within 7 days of delivery, as set out in our Refund Policy. Items must be unworn, in their original condition and packaging, and certain items such as worn earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Items that arrive damaged, faulty or incorrect are always covered.

9. Using and caring for your jewelry

Jewelry can be affected by water, sweat, perfume, lotion, chemicals and rough handling, and natural wear over time is normal. To help your pieces last, please follow the care instructions on our website. We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, accidents or poor care.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including our name, logo, photos, designs, text and graphics, belongs to M & CO or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, sell or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse our website, including by trying to gain unauthorised access, introducing harmful code, using it for fraud, or interfering with its normal operation.

12. Privacy

We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Please read our Privacy Policy to see what we collect and how we use it.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, M & CO is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products, or for delays and failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier delays, strikes, power outages or internet failures. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Our website may link to other websites, and we use third parties such as payment providers and couriers. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites or services.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you place your order is the one that applies to that order.

16. Your rights and governing law

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, or any other South African law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
